happy!

last weekend, we celebrated juls' birthday ;-) he decided mid-week to invite some friends over, so most of the week was spent cleaning, chopping, cooking, and preparing. but it was all worth it to see that satisfied smile on my baby's face ;-) doesn't he look like a satisfied little boy?

the spread: i made palabok and some pancit bihon, but there was a special request for spaghetti, so i made some too. i also prepared thai green curry (a favorite of the ilonggos), menudo, and lumpiang shanghai. we asked the guests to bring drinks and dessert. man, we should really have taken some pics of the desserts they brought. yummers! we were on a sugar high for hours! we still have some leftover desserts, so methinks i'll do a later post on them.

happy birthday again bebe!
and thanks to everyone who came by last saturday! it was really, really fun to have you all over! i cannot believe we all squeezed into our tiny flat ;-)
